The original idea and the making of ‘Design creations’ started in a place that was a squash and a squeeze, too small to paint in or to store big works.
Restless creativity in urgent need of action made me abstract ‘moments’ out of failed paintings (thus saved from the burning) and gathered samples of try outs which I then placed in small frames.
Boring!
Imprisoned in white sterile borders they looked too conventional, too ‘well behaved’. Not enough ‘Arty’, trendy, or daring.
Bits and pieces of ‘Photo shopped’ pictures and drawings from ‘Brushes’ on my Ipod joined in. Glued on the mount board they blend the central paintings and drawings in a surrounding full of colour and movement.
This is just the beginning of an endless path in designing creativity.
